Regional Revamp Complete!
It was a great week Retail Revamping the local businesses from Narromine and Trangie in regional NSW. From the Pharmacy, Newsagency, Vinnies, Historical Centre, Caravan Park, Fashion & Homewares, Local students and much more, the focus of the week was all about working with what you have and being super creative with how to take presentation standards to the next level.
'Cr Mark Munro, Chair of the newly formed Economic Development Group has also welcomed the initiative and encourages the continued development of the retail sector to take advantage of niche retail opportunities, growth in the agricultural sector and our proximity to the larger market of Dubbo. Cr Munro commented further that “Narromine Shire Council is committed to the future of the retail sector with the Visual Merchandising Workshops and the soon to be released Economic Development Strategy an important part of this commitment”. Narromine Shire Council has been successful in obtaining grant funding from the Murray Darling Basin Regional Economic Diversification Program for the Visual Merchandising workshops and Carol plans to be back in the area in the second half of the year to talk further about business activation.'
Exciting times ahead as Narromine has a real focus on their up and coming Air Shows. As the flying capital of Australia, each year aircraft enthusiast come far and wide to enjoy the October Air Show events Narromine runs.
Thanks guys for having me and I look forward to seeing all of your Retail Revamp come to life, no pressure, as I am back in the region in October, to do it all again!
